Community Achievement Award

The Canton Township Board of Trustees bestowed the 2011 Canton High School Boys State Champion soccer team with its Community Achiever Award for the positive recognition the team has brought to the community.

Canton Trustee and long-time soccer supporter Greg Demopoulos presented the award on May 6 at the Summit to senior captains Connor Ferguson and Mitch Posuniak.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DATES

Captains Practices

Will begin the last week of June and be held at Independence Park. They will be Tues & Thurs 6- 8 pm and Sundays 3-5 pm (no practices week of July 4). The captains highly recommend that all players that are planning on attending tryouts come to every practice.

Tryouts

August 8, 9, 10 @ practice fields outside of Phase III

Varsity 1-2:30 pm

JV & Freshmen 2:30 - 4:00 pm

Team Fitness Camp with Total Performance trainers - Week of July 30 – August 2,  9-11 am @ practice fields outside of Phase III. The camp cost $50 and is open to all players planning to attend tryouts.

Team Camp @ Eastern Michigan University - July 27-29

This is an overnight boarding camp run by EMU Coaches and the cost is $260.  The camp is open to all players planning to attend tryouts and Coach Tomasso highly recommends that all returning varsity players attend.
